Fox Sports is canceling Danny Parkins’ FS1 show “Breakfast Ball” among a series of cuts, but Parkins isn’t out of a job, the Sun-Times has learned.

A source confirmed The Athletic’s report that the show will be canceled along with “Speak” and “The Facility.” But the source also said that Parkins is expected to remain with the network. Fox Sports declined to comment.

Parkins left The Score’s afternoon show last August to join Craig Carton and Mark Schlereth on FS1’s new morning show out of New York, but it couldn’t gain traction among viewers.

Fox Sports is expected to rework FS1’s lineup, likely in time for football season, which is when the outgoing lineup launched last year. But it won’t include Joy Taylor, whose contract was not renewed, according to The Athletic. Taylor had been involved in harassment allegations, which Taylor denied.

Other hosts affected by the cancellations are Emmanuel Acho, Chase Daniel, James Jones and LeSean McCoy of “The Facility” and Keyshawn Johnson and Paul Pierce of “Speak,” which Taylor co-hosted.

Parkins’ last day at The Score was Aug. 16, when he completed his 24-hour radiothon for cancer research. He will return to The Score airwaves for his third radiothon July 31-Aug. 1.
